Just wondering if anyone has made it out to the Southern Star Brewery tours yet in Conroe? It's a good time with good beer. Every Saturday from 1-3. You buy the glass, they fill it. They always have their 3 beers ( pine belt pale ale, blonde bombshell and buried hatchet stout) on tap. I'm a 3 min drive from there and thats a plus.

I went for their National Homebrew day and got 5 gallons of free wort and free beer. Can't beat that!

Buried Hatchet is great...I need to make it there for a tour. Sounds like national homebrew day is the day to do it

I've been once and would definitely recommend it.

When I visited they were also debuting the Pro Am Saison. Buried Hatchet is my favorite of their beers, but the pale is fairly tasty.
