Where's a good venue to find live music?
It's been a while since I've went to Huntington for a night out. Anybody have any good suggestions for live rock music?

The V Club is pretty good.

Thanks. I've heard a few people mention the V Club. I'll check it out. May even go for New Year's Eve, that is if they've got a good line up for the night.

If you don't mind driving to Charleston they have good music at the Cultural Center also the Clay Center in Charleston.

Mountainstage (Sunday nights at the Cultural Center/State Capitol) is one of my favorite spots. You can check the lineup online. Usually 4-5 bands each playing about 20 minutes.

Wow, thanks for the memory! I lived in Ripley back at the turn of the century. I remember watching Jake at the Art and Craft Fair every year. He was just a kid back then.
