Man nice story and pics. Love the country side pics and the old ghost town. I'm gonna have to show that to my wife when I get home she loves that stuff.

Thanks man, and everyone really. I'm glad to be getting such positive feedback on this. And again, if any of you get the curiosity/ adventure itch, I suggest you follow it. Pick a weekend and go explore the state. Arizona has so much to offer, and more often than not, it's pretty easily accessible whether you have 4 wheel drive or not.

chris southeast of gv could be Ruby you are thinking of. Currenlty on Craigs list you can buy shares. Duquense east of Patagonia is really cool wiht many abandoned wood frame buidling and mine works too but VERY close to the border. Alta is a a moderate trail wiht steep climbs and some old adobe blgs.

Sasco just past Red Rock (the one in Pinal county) is worth checking out if your vehicle isn't stubborn about fording a small river.
