Homemade. It took me several years to develop a taste for "Cincinnati Style" chili but if I had to choose it would be Skyline.

Back when I was young and cool I worked for the Chili Company (Blue Rock & Cheviot). I loved their chili but have not had it in years. I moved to Ky. about 20 years ago but have to get some chili when I come yo visit. Usually Gold Star.
Pretty much anywhere yo go when it comes to Cincinnati chili you can't go wrong. And it has to be a 5 Way.

Chili

I like both Skyline and Gold Star, but if forced to choose...I would go with Skyline.

Im sorry to say this and I know that I am going to get some responses over this but Skyline sucks if you want real Chili. Try some mom and pop places and you'll be greatful

I grew up on Gold Star in Bellevue. Our Great Grandma used to take us there so that's where my heart lies. I do love Skyline though and Dixie is at the top too.

I was a fan of Skyline, Camp Washington and Dixie Chili (Newport) when I was in college there.
