One of my favorite foods ever. I'm the only one in my family that like it.

They are just vermicelli?
I love pho, most people around here make it with vermicelli though I prefer udon.
Granted to totally different cuisines but a local place offers them instead.

The Singapore Noodles we get are not vermicelli, and have all kinds of stuff in it.
Shrimp, unidentifiable meat, peppers, etc.
Our wok is one of my favorite pots and pans

Buy the cheap old fashioned one and season it well. It'll serve you much better than the non-stick crap on the market these days.
I never use soap to wash my wok, and always wipe it down with a little oil before putting it away.
Cooking in a wok is fun man. Do it.

Stupid Target only had teflon.
I have a couple of Asian grocers near my inlaws. Maybe if I'm nice they will answer my questions.
I stopped taking my wife in with me. She likes to touch stuff which gets us nasty looks. She also complains about the smell.

The other day I made Stoup, (or is it Stewp?).
chopped beef, about 1" squares (brn'd with fajita seas., AZ steak seas.)
2 cans stew'd maters
chopped veggies (cellery, camotes, corn, green beans, onion, bellpepper, squash, carrots)
spices . . . Sonora seas., cellery salt, oregano, dried celantro, hot picante sause
then I put it all in a crock pot added a little water and cooked it over night.
