One more nice tour ...
11 – 18 June I, Glen, Sue, Tom, Sandra and Graham did a nice 8 day bicycle tour in the North-West part of BG. Unfortunately my driver was busy, so I had to follow the group by the car. We bicycled Iskar river Gorge – Vraca town – Montana town, one of the most noticeable places in BG – Belogradchik town with its amazing rocks and Magyra Cave – Lom town at Danube river and back in Montana town.
The distance was 360 kilometers at all, weather – perfect, even last 2 days a little hot. Many bottles of beer, local white and red wine and gin & tonic were dried a lot of local types of meals were eaten … next year we will do it again.

I hope you enjoy of your summer Mark … I just have arranged 5 day vacancy since 29 June … it will be in a small village with a perfect swimming pool of nice mineral water, next to Pirin mountain. In my life I have tried to be in the highest its pick 6 times (9000+ feet), but the Life always decided different. I hope this time I will succeed to go to the top in the end. If yes, if there is a sun high in the mountain, there will be interesting photos after 10 days.

My attempts to visit the highest pick of Pirin mountain – “Vihren” have begun since 1979. Fortune has imposed me to do 6 unsuccessful attempts so far due to different reasons. But this time my 7th attempt was successful.
