Hah, I'm currently in the military and stationed on Oahu, but I live in Ohio before this.

And I love Ohio (Cleveland) because there's winter 8-9 months out of the year; however, when it gets warm, somehow everyone's got really nice motorcycles and collector vintage cars - not to mention all the boats and jetski's! We're all a city/state in denial...

I love Ohio!

I think we can all agree on the weather changing every 5 minutes. It was 90* a week ago and the past two days have been in the 60s

I have to say even though I hate the weather, I also love it. We're one of the few states that doesn't have common natural disasters. Sure we get some snow every now and then, and an occasional tornado, but nothing devastating. I think the scenary is pretty nice around here as well.

Living in the NW/NC part of the state offers lots of things. Lake Erie is Walleye central and there are so many charters here, it boggles the mind! Beaches, jetski and boat rentals, etc. Put-In-Bay Island, Cedar Point, The Toledo Zoo, The African Wildlife Safari, Sauder Village, not to mention the four FULL seasons, Fall being my personal favorite. If you're into the shooting sports, you cannot miss the National Matches at Camp Perry.

Personally, I'm not much on winter cold, I have crappy circulation, but I love the snow and the fun I have in it. Snowmobiling, snow wheeling in my Jeep, playing with the kids, building snow forts and having snowball fights....I just can't stay out in it very long. Kinda sux. It's a catch 22 for me.

A lot of flat land, but there is still a LOT to see and do here! Underrated indeed.

The BUCKEYES!

Also, we have no current water shortage issues to worry about with the abundance of fresh water in the Great Lakes. Abundance of Deer in the fall also.
