My personal fav is Luling City Market in Luling. Although if looking for the best bbq, find a cook-off and attend. You can usually find someone offering free beer and food. We do......Republic of Texas Cookers.

Best BBQ in Texas? Killeen, at my house! Well, at least I think so, though I hear Clem Mekiska's in Temple is pretty good.

If'n you're ever on old Route 66 traveling through Amarillo, give "Ribs 'n More" a try. They're right on the old route and they're boneless ribs are fantastic.
