A great new place opened on January 1st in the same building as Tortilla West down by Lambert's Point.
It's called Birch and they are a true 'beer place'
20+ really good beers on tap rotation and another 80+ in bottles.
The owners were on the cover of VEER last week I believe.
Very cool place- I talked with the owner for awhile and he's a friendly guy.
Try it out and post what ya think.

WOW! Small world! I actually had one of their brews at Red Star Tavern this past weekend. Cannot remember for the life of me what is was called though. If i find craft beers at places I usually order them without much though cus they are usually better than the big name guys.

Also, Nothing better than supporting local business too!

Right on. I met the guy that runs it. He's a cool dude. Really down to earth. He really puts his heart and soul into his craft.

Yeah he sells his beer in these huge jars. He gives you a discount if you bring them back when you're done. You should check it out.
