What Happened To This Outdoor Range?

I recently found that St. Louis Missouri Bottom Range has been closed for over a year. (range location is just off Hwy 370 near the Missouri River.)

A husband/wife ran the range, I believe the land was in the name of the wife's family.
It was starting to fall into disrepair when I was last there in 2009, and now I see it was closed all of 2011.
Does anyone know what happened?

Not sure, They seemed to have lost interest in it some time ago, and I know Bridgeton had tried to shut them down over and over. There is some activity behind there now so I imagine the land was sold. They leased the land. I do miss them and the range though.
