I'd like to say all of them, but on a more personal level, the Fitchburg Chief of Police. That guy stopped being a cop a long time ago. Last year he went on this campaign of tightening firearms licensing solely because of one shooting that made the news. He cares far more about how he looks to the public than how well he does his job.

We had a chief in Carver that was doing the same thing. Stopped issuing LTCs to everyone, even people that had them for years. Thank god she's not there anymore.
To stay on topic, Deval's time is running up. I doubt he'll get re elected. After Jane Swift, Mitt and now Deval do you think we're due for a halfway decent gov?

Take your pick of the uber liberal meatheads - Deval Patrick, Barney Frank, Jim McGovern, etc.

Massachusetts has been a haven for liberals for years, and the focus of the jokes from the rest of the country. Too many people who vote the party without having a clue about the issues.

Welcome to the Socialist States of America . . .

I got to say for this election, Baker. Saying you are going to cut 5000 jobs in the middle of a downturn is not only wrong, it's stupid. Even if it would save government money, it's 5000 more unemployed people out there not giving you a drivers licence, not patrolling your streets, not waiting for fires and not teaching your kids. Also not paying income tax, not paying sales tax, and more importantly, not buying stuff at stores.

Yes, I am a liberal in the bastion of liberal thinking but I am also an avid free market economist and a senior level computer engineer so it's not like I don't make money and want to free load and so far I haven't seen or heard Patrick say or do anything that wasn't correct as far as appeasing the markets, and more importantly, maintaining community money. If you don't like the fact that your taxes are going to roads, schools, public transit, water, sewage, tax breaks to major corporations to provide jobs, and a whole host of other things that the market will never cover if you let the invisible hand work.... then yes, don't like Patrick, but he is doing the best he can with (if you haven't noticed) the worst downturn in 80 years and we haven't needed to borrow a ton of money which will hurt us later down the line which is a small miracle.

Sorry for the long post, but bashing Politicians without actually providing a reason I think is the exact opposite reason to have an opinion about the subject.

Also when MA pulls out of the recession faster than 46 other states, let them all laugh while our unemployment drops by .5% or more per month and people actually get jobs here.
